เป็นวัดราษฎร์ ตั้งอยู่ในหมู่ที่ 3 บ้านเจดีย์ ตำบลปากคลองบางปลากด อำเภอพระสมุทรเจดีย์ จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ ฝั่งตรงข้ามศาลากลางจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ มีผู้คนมาเคารพสักการบูชา และยังเป็นสัญลักษณ์ประจำจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ ผู้คนทั่วไปจะเรียกกันติดปากว่า พระเจดีย์กลางน้ำ เนื่องจากเดิม บริเวณที่ก่อสร้างพระสมุทรเจดีย์เป็นเกาะแม่น้ำ ต่อมาชายตลิ่งฝั่งขวาของแม่น้ำตื้นเขินงอกออกมา เชื่อมติดกับเกาะอันเป็นที่ตั้งพระเจดีย์
